    Came away today from the game and thought even if we didn't score, I got what I paid for to be entertained.

    This bubble might be burst soon, but I'm loving going to see the footie again.

    This was a thoroughly entertaining afternoon at the Gate.
    A City team playing joined up football, working hard for each other and the team.
    Mistakes? Yes but our lads had the confidence to put things right.
    It would be churlish to pick out individuals but as I was one of his fiercest critics last season, I nominate Fontaine for one block he made in the first half, appearing from nowhere to snuff out a goal bound shot at the expense of a corner.
    It summed up the change since SC arrived.
    I went home for the first time in a long time, feeling really pleased with what I had seen.
    May this be the end of the beginning and the start of the beginning of the recovery!
