This has to be one of the best for me, didn't watch it but only got the text updates but to win away at Stoke is a tremendous achievement paticuarly because we have a poor record there.

Sounds like the lads worked their socks off again and I couldn't be more proud to be a Sunderland fan right now. Looking forward to the boro game now and then Arsenal infront of a packed Sol hopefully.

Three very precious points after a dire game played in awful conditions. Was never a red card though but we'll take it. Now for Boro....

As stated the snow spoiled any chance of anyone playing "football" but, as the op says, it was a great win. One of the best since mon arrived. Not due to performance or a good game of football, but because of how hard the lads worked in shocking conditions.

McClean's goal was class. Fantastic skill and a great finish. Xxx

watch the one by fuller. Definite red card and he never got spoken to..
Ref tried to even it up by letting them do anything they wanted second half.

Out of the last two games, although i enjoyed the Norwich game, this game is more satisfying to me.......away......stoke.......3 points........amazing result and shows how we can now win playing badly. Oh and ANOTHER clean sheet, for a defence so messed about they have been amazing this year!

As has already been stated a great 3pts today, and i think a special mention should be made about Richardson, a superb performance, defended really well, and as one of his sternest critics i salute him today. But that is what we expect week in week out.<applause>
