‘Tis the season for owl sightings, and twitchers are excited by the potential of the Kansas Mahomes putting in an appearance some time tonight. This brightly plumaged and self confident bird can be very entertaining, if conditions are right and other, larger, birds don’t get in its space.

Unfortunately I’m jet lagged and unlikely to stay awake long enough to spot the bird, especially after the mountain of roast pork and lake of red wine that I am about to consume.

For those of you who do stay up, enjoy, and Go Chiefs (halfheartedley).

I’ll probably have a go at owl watching, can’t guarantee I’ll see it all so I’m recording it to watch tomorrow.

Well played KC, until the 4th quarter SF were the better team but you can’t keep a good man down and Mahones was spectacular in the end.
