Although my stream was poor it looked as though we should have closed the lad down earlier We seemed to have everyone back in our half but as usual defending too deep IMO If you retreat to the penalty area you run the dual risk of fouls pens deflections and that sort of goal I suppose we did well to restict them to one but sadly I think it will be a different story over here In which case do we keep some of out "top" players back for next Sunday or would a ???? goal thrashing knock confidence and team spirit even more Re Crawley if we can not win on Sunday then we do not desrve to be in the Prem or have the loyal fans that we do We should go at them from the start and assert ourselves but as we keep saying from where/whom are the goals coming It must be demoralising for Crouchy and Walters to get no service other than hoof and crosses if/when we play wingers SiS PS Potts sending you a PM re our "joint" roots
Tough call now for TP. If it was me (and I know the faithful and travelling fans wont be impressed) I wouldnt be going to Valencia looking to win - but then again thats nothing new for an away TP game! The premier league is where we need our results - NOW! We have Swansea & Norwich at home followed by Chelsea & Spurs away and then back home for Man City and then away to Wigan. Thats a possible 18 points but realistically I think (on current form) we would be lucky to get 3 draws and keep our goal differecne down to a minimum!
Too right guys.. We MUST win on Sunday and then move on! IF we can not beat Crawley with the greatest of respect to them.. Goodness knows what will happen. We need a win just for a confidence boost more than anything... And S I Spain... thanks for the PM mate. Pretty scary stuff... I've returned your'e pm and it seem's we have a lot in common. Pleased to hear that you did get to see the game too!
