My eleven year old asked for an Ipswich strip for Christmas.Well they were having a great year in The Premiership at the time,so that will give you a clue how long back this was.So I called in at Portman Rd and got him one,explaining to the woman that I had tried to bring him up right but had failed.Anyway twelve years on whenever I go past Ipswich by train he asks how The Stadium of Gloom is looking.I think that second season syndrome and the 9-0 at Old Trafford cured him.
