Recent speculation has suggested that Matty Taylor could be returning to the club. Is this just another hopeful rumour or could there be some truth behind it? With both Stoke and West Brom also interested i can't see it myself, but just thought i would put this one out there. He would be exactly what we need a left winger with a decent delivery, surely he still holds a big place in his heart for us, could this tempt him to drop back down a division?

Was disappointed when he left in the first place as he was a great crosser of the ball.

More wishful thinking? I would be delighted to see him back at Fratton if it did happen though!

This would be AMAZING, a true signal of intent from all of the people involved at Pompey.

Can you imagien, Lawrence on the right, Super Matty on the left, King Kanu up front... COTTERILL MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!

Obviously we are living in dream world, it won't happen at all. Que sera sera, eh lads? ;)

Would love to see him back but not a chance with premier clubs interested and the wages they can offer. With Lawrence on one flank we badly need some pace in our side next season.

Exactly - AND shouldn't we be the teeensiest bit embarassed at STILL fielding Kanu, he looks like he's wandered along the road from Fratton Rail Yard............

Wait a minute, my next door neighbour's sister-in-law's newsagent thinks Micky Quinn is training hard for a comeback in Pompey Blue ??!!
