I was raving about the lad at the start of the season - thought he could be our new superstriker, but, after watching him on a couple of occasions on live tv, i think it's a huge step up for him from the conference to the top of the championship.
Obviously i would love it if he was a big hit with us, but, alas, i really don't think he'll be good enough for us (hopefully i'm proven wrong) and he'll go the same way as Murray and Bowditch, who we also had high hopes for.

And i also don't think he'll get any time on the pitch, as Mick will stick with Nouble as the back up (and SEB if fit)

didz is definately out for the season, just had op today, SEB has a tight hammy so is doubtful for saturday so that is probably why Jack is back.

You never know, the blindness of youth might be a good thing for the last 4 games.

Nice move...at least he would have a spring in step, bags of confidence, youth, energy all on his side. Might get a look-in if we are well on top in one of our last games. Did I just say that!?

He may also be given a chance if we're out of the running with a couple of games to go and not much to play for.

From his body language and the way he spoke about Taylor I doubt it. When asked if Jack would get game time at the weekend he paused and said "Taylor's not been in the squad and Sylvan probably won't make it. Jack has played more games than Paul and has been scoring"
Just the whole thing screamed out that Taylor was done here.

Has he really though under Mick? I can except he's not Micks cup of tea, every manager prefers a certain type of player but lets remember all season most of us were looking forward to him being given a chance in the team, a month or so ago he gets a run of a couple of games and he produces a MOM performance that leaves us all excited about what may come then after one average performance he's in the wilderness again and we haven't seen him since but he's had his chance right??

I just find it frustrating when you see what Mick has done for players with real limited ability like Murphy, Smith and Nouble, he gives them chance after chance even players like Tabb, Hyam and Anderson who rarely light up games yet get given lots and lots of minutes even if they have an awful game yet you get players like JET, Taylor and Wordsworth who all season we're saying give them a chance after a couple of games they make a real difference put in a MOM display that really stands out in our workmanlike side 2 games later they're in the wilderness yet other players get chance after chance.

You cannot deny Mick has done an outstanding job but by god he's frustrating, I just wish he had the same patience and will to work with more talented players

Maybe it's the other way round that the so called more talented players are not willing to work as hard or that Taylor has not brought into the team spirit and unity.

That may well be the case but surely it's up to the manager to deal with these players, most top managers deal with all these different personalities. It just seems odd that it's been a criticism of Mick all through his managerial career. As I said it's frustrating because you see how much patience he has with players with limited ability and how he improves them. I mean we don't know the ins and outs of players but it doesn't seem players like Wordsworth or JET had an attitude problem.

I think that Jet and wordy can both go missing for large periods in games or even let whole games pass them by, although they have/had a bit of flare I think MM insists on all players putting in a shift just because you can pick a pass doesn't mean you can stand about looking nice while others do the ugly part of the game.

With Taylor I think it must be down to attitude as he does seem a busy player when I've seen him.

Mick just wont play Taylor no matter what the situation is, maybe its an attitude problem or maybe he s a disruptive influence in the dressing room, I think all will become clear when the new season starts and he s not here.
