There appears to have been a lot of activity on Twitter etc. suggesting Super Kev may have fallen upon some very hard times and into a very dark place mentally.

A Tweet from him sounded very ominous, as if he was considering ending it all.

Thankfully it does appear as if police have found him and he is ok for the moment.

Very sad situation if it's all as bad as it sounds.

I have messaged the club to see if they'd consider supporting him in some way and whether they would consider acting as an agency for a "go fund me" type page/arrangement if he's in serious financial distress.
I'm sure quite a few fans would be happy to support him given the enjoyment he gave us all.

A tweet from him.

To the guy that stole my car , you stole a lot of my clothes in a tough time you stole my life it might mean nothing to you but it was all I had.

Well done Brizzle
The Club needs to be there for him, I'm sure the fans would donate to a "go fund me" page.
Cheers Dai, there was another tweet too about telling his kids he loves them and he'll be looking down on them (or words to that effect).

Whatever his circumstances are or may be, it's just right to try help someone out of such a dark hole if it's true. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Well said guys. Surely the club and us fans can do something to help Kev through such a tough time.

If the club can start something they will gain much wider publicity and support than individual fans.

We have had a tragic couple of years with Sala and Whitts, this is a chance to do something good for a club stalwart.

......and Chris Barker.

I sincerely hope that things improve rapidly for Kev. I haven't met him personally but understand that he's a top bloke. As a player, I hold him in such high regard and always will. I just wish that he had players with his attitude playing in our shirt today. However, that's a very high bar that I've just set.

Any response Brizzle?
Nope, nothing.

I did see a couple of social media posts since though.
One was from Kev himself thanking everyone for their support.

The other was today. It looks like Kev may actually be in Liverpool (I assume for the game) and a load of City fans were with him.

Hopefully that's a sign of him being in a better place psychologically at least.
