Super Injunction

Does the fact that Sky News have mentioned the rumour about Gabby Logan and Alan Shearer now mean that they couldn't have been involved in this super injunction saga.
Jemmima Khan has used Twitter to deny she has a super injunction in force as did Gabby Logan last week. Am I right in thinking that Sky would not be able to mention either of these incidents if an injunction was in place.

Yep.

The super injunction restricts all UK based media from mentioning names or even the fact that a super injunction is in place.

As Twitter is US based it's not compliant with the UK laws.

If SKY are mentioning this then there is no injunction in place from these individuals

The footballer that Allegedly has one to prevent exposure of his affair with the welsh girl Imogen? can't remember her name, wouldn't it have been better if he had protected both their identities and not just his. They were both involved after all, and why should she have the media backlash because she isn't rich? Another point raised, if people continue to hide behind these injunctions, specultion has a damaging effect on innocent people.

 

Thus the reason its Innocent until proven guilty. But thats not the paper way

There is a Spanish newspaper that printed the story because the injunction does not apply to the Spanish papers. I thought most people knew who it was anyway.
