Anybody staying up to watch it , iv watched the NFL all this Season and enjoyed it Sundays game is shaping up to be an all time classic Im going for the Seahawks to just nick it in the 4th qtr Know its a football forum but i just thought id gage the interest in the NFL on here
If I can't get to sleep I might put it on to see if it helps. Jumped up rubbish, that American Rugby.
I'll be watching it, depending on whether my essay is finished. I enjoy it, mainly due to the extremes on show. From the half time show, to the adverts, it really is crazy.
I spend a lot of time in Texas, and liking American Football is a side effect from spending so much time out there. so, yes I will be watching.
I got into NFL as a wee bairn when channel four started showing it in the mid 80s. Adopted the Bills as my team, basically because they were dog ****e at the time. Wins were few and far between. Later discovering they are a working class, unfashionable team vindicated my choice further. Then they started to get good. Beginning with a couple of divisional championships and Playoff runs and culminating with the four consecutive conference championships and super bowl appearances. We lost them all but it was fun while it lasted. Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed are legends of that time. Now we are dog ****e once again, with, I believe longest run of any team since last reaching the playoffs. There's always next season... I don't follow the sport as much as I used to as a lad and an early start at work the next days means I probably won't catch much of it. But I'm backing Denver. Go Bills!
I hate the Seahags. I hope Denver wallops them. At least we have a quality singer for the National Anthem for a change.
McKinney? Ive heard of that place.. no idea how to get there tho' heh is it far from Beaumont? or Humble? I go to Cleveland. Its about 2 hours SE of Houston - 2 hours NE of Galveston. unlike a lot of arrogant Brits, I actually go places. OLM, for example goes to a little seaside town called Withernsea on his moped - now that's living!
Broncos have to win it, it's been written since the opening week. Watch out for the Colts in the next few years though - if they can get another receiver or two and a couple of good heads on defence there'll be no stopping Luck.
Nothing more than Rugby League for fairies, all the bloody padding & steroid fuelled hype, typical case of the yanks creating a team sport where they can win because nobody else plays it
I'll be watching it. Been following on and off since it started up on C4 in the early 80's and I find it quite entertaining. My team is the Bengals, mainly due to the tiger reference.

The moments of skill, speed and brute force that characterise American Football are breathtaking, but they are buried between seemingly ****ing hours of completely baffling nothingness. Shame, really.
