Any of you lads (or lasses) planning to watch the Super Bowl?

This one promises to be an entertaining matchup between two teams which can put points on the board against the best of defenses. I say this as one who normally does not watch NFL football, and despises the league. Collectively, NLF owners operate like gangsters and the commissioners office does their bidding. They've ruined a great game for short term revenue hits. Sound familiar? Still, I have a variety of tasty, unhealthy junk food in the works for an evening of watching American football. Who's with me?

Gonna be nice to watch a SB where I'm completely neutral, it's been a while.

Not bothered who wins, but leaning towards KC.

Chess (bad chess) on steroids (both players & dancing girls).
You can grow a beard in the time it takes to play a game. And that's just the ladies.
    Super Bowl! ( Toilet bowl).
World Series ! (When are Mars, Jupiter et al gonna be invited ?)
Donald Trump ! (A bridge contract too far.)
    Boggles the mind.
Is there an emoji representing a bucket for the slops ?

    Is L a Roman numeral?

    Is it though?

    C is.

That's worth one hundred and we get cent and centurion and century and that from it.

    So's M. That's a thousand.

Millennium. Millimetre. Ummm, Milliner. They all come from that.

    Is Milliners Latin?

Did Romans wear a thousand hats?

    Probably.

But L? What's it even worth?

    L'evan?

    L of a lot?

Did the Romans even had an L?

    Isn't the alphabet Greek?

    What's going on here?

    Rabbit away and no mistake.

    'L' is equivalent to (2 * a Pony) or (0.5 * a Ton).

No idea what the Roman is for a guinea ?

Either 'P' for a Pig or 'F' for a Fowl.

    Bloody creative these Latins.

All suffered from the Oedipus Rex syndrome.

All the world is a stage.

I read that, in the stadium, there will be no single-use plastic cups. I have no idea what people will drink out of nor what they will drink, but I am glad they are doing a bit for the planet.

I have no idea who is playing, nor do I need to know.

And Ernie, I hope you have passed a pleasant ll/ll/MMXX

It’ll be take home and reuse plastic cups instead

only $25 extra for the cup too

    probably

I used to watch the SuperBowl every year with a mate. Sadly he died a while ago and now as it’s not a planned session I forgot to take tomorrow off so won’t be doing an all-nighter for it

plus I’m poorly...not quite Chinese virus level, but high end man flu at the very least

    Watch highlights tomorrow instead

Has the Monty vs Desert Fox bore-fest started yet ?
    I'm anxious for an update.
Are they still in the sand grain counting build up stage ?
