Surely they can't avoid the inevitable this season?

They're halfway through the second game of the season FFS...

Saying that, they are an incredibly poor side.

    They're ****e.

Shame we're gonna swap places with them at the end of the season.

    Always a guarantee for points.

Yes, first disgruntled fans walk out of the season and we're still only in mid August. Such a massive misplaced sense of entitlement. But they'll probably get their slump in early and then sack Advocaat and someone else will come in and save them in the nick of time.

Even though it is the second game of the season, it already looks a bit iffy for Sunderland.

Of course, it isn't impossible to have a good run and keep yourself up, just look at Leicester.

Sunderland need to do something and quick, they can't keep doing a Wigan and fighting at the bottom, eventually it will bite you on the arse and you'll be back in the Championship.

To be fair to the massive club they did once beat another "massive club" in the FA Cup final.

I've still not recovered from the fact that these Muppets and their fellow Clown Shoes from Sid James Park contrived to finish above us last season.

Not helped by the fact that I've been reminded about it on a daily basis for most of the summer.

Smug Geordies and supercilious Mackams for good company do not make.

They'll both go down this season.

And we'll pass them on the way up.

    And then how I'll laugh.

    Ha. Ha. Ha. Haaaaarh.

It is genuinely baffling trying to work out how on earth they finished above us last season
