Extended highlights of the 2-0 play off 2nd leg win at Petulant Park (including that priceless pitch invasion) and short highlights of the 1st leg at Roker(worth it just to see Hardyman kick Burridge in the head) Why not? Get us in the mood for Sunday.

I was there for both games. Only a young Un so slightly bricked it when they all piled on the pitch after our 2nd goal. Pillocks.

Pillocks. Now there's an old fashioned word.

It wasn't televised either, but listened on the radio to Charles Harrison I think, celebrated like never before after the match. If we win tomorrow this will be better though.

I listened to the second leg on the radio in a pub 15 miles away with a mate who was a mag. When we were 1 up he told me that if we scored a second goal the word was that they were going to invade the pitch. You have to remember that in the seventies they had done the same thing against Notts Forrest in the cup when they were 3 - 1down. After the pitch was cleared they went on to win 4 - 3 but the FA made them replay at a different venue which they won and went on to wembley. Pleased they did because they got beaten in the final by Liverpool which gave us one of my favorite chants of the seventies -
    Keegan two
    Highway one
    Liverpool three
    Newcastle none
La La La La, Laa Laa Laa, Laa Laa

    Repeat as required
