Well lads me and my twin daughters have got our tickets for Saturdays match. It will only be my third home game this season been to a few away though. I could have watched it at home on ESPN in Rossendale and it wud have cost me less than ã20 for two boxes bulmers. But given the recent great debate about going to the match or watching it elsewhere I thought I would make the massive effort to do the 300 mile trip at a cost of about ã150-ã175 all in. Not looking for any glory just given what big Niall has been saying I felt I should at least try to give some support to the club and the team in general.
Good on you mate, and anoher plus, this is ALWAYS a good game. Spurs will come, they'll playe excellent attacking football, both teams will give eachother space, and the travelling Spurs are always vocal, and in good numbers. Here's hoping for a good game, an 3 important points for the lads. Now that the 'we hate Bent' thing is mutual, i can go back to seeing Spurs as a fantastic club, who always entertain, hopefully you'll see good value in your investment
And as luck would have it the match is now due to kick off at 17:30, ideally timed for a stroll round some watering holes in the town after the match, have a good one safccharlie
Funnily enough my drinking will be in Morpeth just outside where I was born. Thanks lads though for you being so supportive. Thats why we are Sunderland
Charlie. Do you have a son that sits with his lass in the NS lower, row 14? Just a total guess on my part this mind.
I hope it'll be a good game as well, I'm going and it will be my third game I've ever seen live, second at home. Hopefully the atmosphere will be electric!
Enjoy the match. If it's half as good as last season it will be a cracker. Let's hope we get three points!
Was a stab in the dark as the lad who sits in front of me at the match is from Rossendale and sometimes his dad sits there!
