We haven't freed enough wages to bring anyone else in yet so that's why he'll be playing for them today.
Lorient had to put their strongest team out for today so it shows that they think a lot of him, to play him in this match when his head has been turned..
He's had nothing to do yet, it's all Lorient. The player we should be looking at is Ndong, he looks a cracking midfielder, he's ripping Monaco a new one
Monaco have come out 2nd half and bagged a couple of goals, completely against the run of play. Gassama, the right back who turned us down, was at fault for the first goal. That first goal when the Monaco player took his shot, it hit the bar and bounced over the line. The players didn't originally know that and the Monaco player reacted quicker than Kone and put it over the line. The 2nd goal was a free kick, and all the players in the wall, jumped. Apart from Kone who turned his body slightly from it and lifted one of his legs as high as he could to protect himself, unbelievable. I really wanted him, but watching this, I'm not so sure now..
I said mate, he's really not that good. Gassama is usually at fault for at least one goal per game as well.
Aye, they were the two suspect defenders. The other centre half didn't look that good either. The left back, Raphael Guerreiro, I'd take him. He looks class and he's only 22.
I've just got back this morning so haven't seen any of the highlights yet. Is they even any point asking how he played now?
Am I to understand Kone is John Mensah's Ghanain successor? If so, I don't believe he won that place easily. I'll take him. Edit : MY MISTAKE - HE'S FROM SENEGAL - APOLOGIES ALL.
