    Wednesday's Press Talk
Are Sunderland hungry for The Wolf? Catch up with all the latest transfer speculation.

Sunderland have been linked with Sporting Lisbon's Dutch striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel.
The 23-year-old has scored 14 goals in just 25 games for the Portuguese club and the Mirror says Martin O'Neill has been "sounded out" about a potential move.
The Netherlands international began his career with Vitesse before moving to Utrecht, where he scored 22 goals in 60 outings.
He joined Lisbon last summer and has impressed in his debut season in the Portuguese top flight as Sporting finished fourth in the Primeira Liga.
Meanwhile, the Sunderland Echo expect Ahmed Elmohamady and George McCartney to move on to West Ham United before the end of the month.

With McCartney and Elmo moving off, I believe that will be at least 50k in wages that will then become available...McGeady + Cuellar's wages?

Gyan i reckon will be on around 40k whatever our wage cap is
McCartney has been rumoured to be the highest paid player at the time he signed aol 40k too
    Gordon was 40k too apparently
Think Elm will be around the 20k mark as will Angeleri

Only estimates but that could be 160k a week saved in wages alone.

Add to that Malbranque leaving will have took 30-40k off the wage bill when he left we should be looking healthy
