Bought the little in the new strip at the weekend, was shocked with the pricing

£40 Strip - well top and shorts as no socks come with it
    £12 for name and number
    £8 for socks

That's £60 for a 4 year old, would of been £6 more if I got him premier league badges. Alarming the prices now I wonder if the so called big clubs i.e man u chelsea etc charge as much as we do

Pricey like. Question is who is making the money of it? got your 20% VAT, I wonder how much Adidas make off each kit? leaving the rest of the mark up down to the club. it's an extra bill to keep kids in football kits every year. Personally I'd explain to my kids it's too expensive to buy one every year, so have one every two years.

I know it's a rip off but a little kid will get a massive amount of wear out of a strip. You don't have to buy the socks and shorts. Although, i do think that clubs shouldn't try to exploit the younger generations. How many fans become fans of clubs because they were bought a strip? and if it puts people off buying for friends, relatives etc then it's bad for the future.

Buy him a little replica 80's or 70's strip. If my little one had an eric gates shirt i'd be over the moon.

It's a mini kit so had to buy the shorts, as its shirt and shirts or nothing, so you can't have shirt and shorts without socks, so u have to buy em seperate. Shocking as never used to be that way

Paint stripes of factor 50 on the bairn and leave him out in the sun for a few hours. Miles cheaper :)

I agree and they grow out of them so quickly aswell and when you think they were selling 2 adults tops for £20, i wonder why they had so much stock left <whistle>
