Sunderland in January

If I come up to Sunderland for a few days in January to watch the Super Swans where are the best places to visit along the local coast?

 

Newcastle.

 

You could always try Chaparses backside, then again Seaburn is worth a visit but if you are adventurous then then always the Seaham to Hamburg 96 hour swim?

 

Another option which I am supposed to not disclose is that our friend Chappaz is appearing as a monk at the Newcastle City Hall, alongside Muriel Gray and Bobby Pattison in a new version of the blockbuster film 'Hairspray'.. Iv'e heard the lad has a key part in unlocking the salon door and having a blow dry later. He hangs around these boards like a ****ing lost barber so there might be some footage on that like..

 

I would do, but I will only be there for 95 hours.

 

Mate, just don't go north of the Tyne or you will be gang bum raped.

Or if you like that, hang around the Jury's Inn area of pisscastle.

 

Try the backstroke mate, they reckon 93 hours with a **** in between strokes if your fast enough..

 

Of course, you would be made welcome in my home in Co. Durham.
