Sunderland have not got 1 reason to think they are better than us!!

What reason have sunderland got to think they are a bigger or better team than us? -

Finishing position - we finish 12th on a shoe string, losing our top goalscorer in january and being our first season back in the premierleague.
they aim for europe, scrape a top 10 finish while spending 6m/10m ect on forign players like sessegoing nowhere and asamohagod your ****,

Team - lets face it, we have the better team in nearly every position bar about 3, collo, taylor, enrique, tiote, barton, jonas, ben arfa. who would you take from sunderland to replace those players.

home grown - we have near enough the highest turn out of english players in our team out of any other team in the PL, that makes me feel really proud of our team because we dont have 7 africans turning out in an enlglish team (not in a racist way)

team spirit - enough said really, maybe only blackpool can boast a stronger togetherness than we can.

reputation - our history speaks for its self, we havent one alot and 1955/69 sound a while ago but we have always been up there while sunderland were hanging around in division 1/championship

stadia - ST. JAMES PARK 52 000
- stadium of light (who even cares)

next season - N'zog, Menez ect will make us a bigger and better team than 5under1and and there will be no second season syndrome for us becuase were not a reading or hull or wigan, were bigger than that, were the 5th biggest team in england in my opinion and i dont care if you think im deluded becuase im proud to say that.

football - we have a much more flowing attacking game and are better to watch on our day, sunderland never look like creating anything and rely on gyan, welbeck, bents pace to get goals, not nice football to watch.

if anyone can give me a sencible reason that sunderland are better or bigger than us then please inform me.

Okay mate I'll answer your question seen as you're being embarrassed by both sets of fans....

Finishing position - We finished 10th. You finished 12th. We BOTH lost our top scorers. I'll concede that you will be the happier set of fans with your season but the fact remains we finished higher.

Team - You have some decent players. I despise the guy but Barton has looked quality when I've seen bits of him and I'd take Enrique although not if it meant dropping Sir Phillip Bardsley. Bramble looked awesome before his injury and would get in to your team nee bother IMO (although I know you'll just assume that because he had a shocking time with yous before, that he is a shocking player now). In terms of attacking quality I'd have our Steeeeeed ahead of that long haired ponce you have on the wing. Sessegnon started slowly but has something like 3 goals in 4 games and looks set to be a real star. Gyan destroys Amadonkey and Lovenkrands. End of.

home grown - This season we have: Onuoha, Bramble, Turner, Welbeck, Bardsley (despite defecting to Scotland, both his parents are mancs), Henderson, Cattermole, Richardson, Ferdinand + British players Meyler and Gordon. Then we have a load of youngsters from England (and a lot from up here).

team spirit - Something which I concede we have lacked. The major reason you've done well.

reputation - that glittering trophy cabinet? Overall since football began we have won the top division 6 times and 5 runners up to your 4 wins and 2 runners up.

stadia -

St. James Park - 52,000
Stadium of Light - 49,000 (with the ability to take the capacity anywhere up to 64,000, if ever needed)

football - Do you watch us weekly? No. Thought not. We seem to be Jekyll and Hyde. When we're not playing well we go for the long ball. On form and we play some quality passing football.

Oh and North East top dogs 3 years in a row. FACT.

theres no denying even without bent you strikeforce is far superior to ours! but when enriques on form enrique < bardsley all day long (dont see him gettin linked to milan and munich n man u ) colo < bramble, although bramble < williamson! and with taylor it all depends but if there both on form its taylor IMO. yeah ad rather have steed then an argintinian international! LOL

but to say were the 5th biggest team in the country is arguable against to say the least
also at the end of the day tiote is better then any player to ever play for sunderland
