This is an utterly pointless post. Sorry. But... It's pretty awesome for us southerners that all midweek games are live on TV now. Having only been televised 3-4 times a year in the last few years, this season we are going to be on TV 4 times before the end of August. In fact looking at the fixtures the only month we aren't guaranteed to be on Sky Sports is January. And that will likely change as we are playing both Boro and Swansea that month and they're sure to interest Sky. And potential FA Cup 3rd and 4th rounds against a Premier League opponent may also attract BBC / ITV that month. Just a bit nice to be relevant again isn't it
Good post and of interest to all our many exiles. I suspect our guaranteed crowds are part of the attraction as well as the TV viewing figures ... ... clubs like Birmingham don't compare to us at the moment.
