    https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/sunderland-together#start

I know both sets of fans will have a go at each other, but at heart we are all football fans and all part of the wider community and at times of need we come together as we did to raise funds for the two Newcastle fans, John Alder and Liam Sweeney, who died flying to each Newcastle play in New Zealand.

As we can not go to the Papa John final at Wembley, yes I know I will get all sorts of comments about tinpot cup and so on, and I would agree it is, a fund has been set up to raise money for local COVID response teams, in the region. There is already almost £40,000 in the pot.
If you would like to show that as football fans we can come together to support our community please feel free to add to the pot.

It’s what genuine football fans do.

Class thing to do. Well done to the Sunderland fans.

    Just hit £100,000.

To think they set the initial target as £10,000.

If you have chipped in thank you.
