Here's a letter from the Sunderland Echo yesterday. Not British Football. Paolo Di Canio should not be in charge of Sunderland. We will end up like Chelsea and Manchester City and have all foreign players. This is not British football. What about our young footballers? what chance have they got? None. Get him out. some people are just stuck in the past. britain nowadays is a mixture of different nationalities, faiths and cultures. why shouldnt our team be the same? why would you close the door to a world of talent just cos there not from britain?
The bloke must be living with a bucket on his head if he thinks any premiership side can by on all british players. Not to mention yet another person who doesn't know the difference between a manager and head coach. If he's got problems with the british game, maybe he should write to the real culprits (FA) instead of the local rag.
