Sunderland boss O'Neill full of praise for Rose Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is pleased with the progress of Tottenham loan signing Danny Rose. O'Neill feels there's still more to come from him, particularly on the attacking side as Rose develops his understanding with wing ace James McClean. "Danny is improving as he gets fitter," he told safc.com. "Having not played for a while for Tottenham Hotspur, he's now getting a run of games and his fitness is improving. "I've been very pleased with him. He's good at getting forward and helping James out on the left. "He is still just bedding into the team so doesn't always take the chances to burst forward, but defensively he's been sound and I'm delighted with that." well i hope we sign him in jan as it looks like he has a future with us.
Was one of the stand out players in a dreary Wigan match, never put a foot wrong and will only get better as his fitness level improves and he gets to know the way MON wants us to play. Just hope we can get him on a permanent deal, he is the LB we have been looking for, for ages.
Said he's happy, so as long as that tight prick Levy doesn't demand the earth for the kid, sign him up!
well lads no one saying hes crap, he says he wants to stay wonder if we have a fixed fee signing agreed when the loans up
Are we not better off saying he's f*cking sh*te and take him back. Levy might drop he's fee to about 10 mil then. Would love to get him but think he's fee will be prohibitive. Always w*nk dealing with spurs.
