Lenny "Houdini" Lawrence was a great Charlton manager, ranks alongside Curbs. Kept us in Division 1 (aka the Premiership now) for 3 seasons on a shoestring budget, when we didn't even have a home ground. All round good guy.
Should be a good game. I am looking forward to it. We (Sunderland) have been in unbelievable form for months so we will certainly give your playoff credentials a good test. I presume you will come and have a go at us which suits us fine and should make it a good watch
I have watched us (Charlton) and your lot (Sunderland) twice at Wembley....... and I think we’ve done rather well if my memory is correct - saying that you lot are alright, better than a certain team that play in blue and live in a ****ehole not too far from us
We have finally landed a decent manager since coming to this level and this is our best chance of getting out this hell hole. How you feeling about Sat mate?
Not sure really , having just got a new manager it’s hard to gauge it this early, but I do have faith in the players we’ve got and hopefully NA can get them playing with confidence rather than rabbits in the headlights like LB had them- may the best team win
Any early team news for you lot? I noticed Washington might of done his hamstring?. We are finally starting to get some key players back after having about 11 players out for months. Having said that we will probs still have a CM playing centre half again on Sat
I wonder how long official printed match-day programmes will survive. Will we see them for season 2021-22? I've not heard anything specific, but I'm aware there have been general questions about the long term future for 'real' programmes, in these days when more and more such things exist in cyberspace.
