It seems that yet another signing is imminent for the Mackems - John O'Shea from Utd for just £3m. That seems reasonably cheap to me and he is a versatile player. Everybody seems to want to play for Steve Bruce. It's not looking like anyone wants to play for TP!

The Pottersâ boss is keen to do a double deal â valued at around £8million â and hopes to take advantage of a delay in their negotiations with Sunderland. OâSheaâs agent has spoken with Stoke and is now pondering his offers. The Republic of Ireland defender knows his time at Old Trafford may be up, but wants the right move. Sunderland boss Steve Bruce still wants him, but the switch to Wearside is proving hard to complete â and Stokeâs interest could be well-timed. Brown has also been a Bruce target for weeks, but he has put feelers out to Aston Villa and Everton â and Stoke may yet offer him the best home. The former England defender is building a new house in the area and staying close to home in Staffordshire may be a more appealing proposition than heading up north to Bruce and Wearside.
Mornign Sgt, Just back from my holiday mate, still reading through the numerous posts/comments about certain player's we're supposed to be interested in.
