SUNDERLAND are trying to find a club in South America for full-back Marcos Angeleri who is surplus to requirements. The Argentina international has made only three senior *appearances in two years, since arriving from Estudiantes for £1.5million when Steve Bruce was in charge. Angeleri, 29, has had two knee operations and spent much of his time as a Black Cat in Argentina. But the defender returned to training on Wearside at the end of the season. He remains under contract at the Stadium of Light but is not in manager Martin OâNeillâs plans despite winning caps for his country under ex-boss Diego Maradona. He picked up his latest knee injury last summer in a pre-season game between the Black Cats and *Portuguese giants Benfica.
