Agreed. Take it and run, but if I'm honest I really still can't see where this level of valuation comes from.........

I don't think we should sell Wickham. Scored 9 goals under Jewell and most of them were from LW.

If we get Chopra then we could have two players scoring 15+ goals.

If Wickham did score 15+ in 2011/12 then he will be worth more than he is now!

As above, I don't understand this current valuation, so I'm not sure if it will get any higher after another season. £8-10 million would be pretty useful right now.

I don't think we will ever be able to get more than 15m whatever he does but as soon as he signs for a "Bigger" Club he will be involved in the England first team and worth alot more!!!

Good point WCP. If, only if, he were to make the full England squad his value would rise but, as you rightly say, he is not going to achieve that with Town unless we are playing Premier League football.

He's yet to play for a full season for us so this talk of such high volumes of money (albeit quite nice) is somewhat unjustified.

I get the impression he is happy to stay with us for a little while still and knows he has more to gain from us for now, but I feel if a bid did come in we would be powerless to reject it and naturally he'll be off to greener pastures.

Got to be honest. With the money this will provide. I would prefer to add a Nugent or Cox (in addition to Chopra) a winger like Treacy and pay wages to add the talents of Bullard(which has gone quiet with other clubs)

Also this will go along way to strengthening the defence with Cresswell, Pearce, Ingamarsson, St Ledger and maybe Chimbonda.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's worth £20 million in three years' time - but we have to weigh up what 10 million quid would allow us to do, plus the fact there are no guarantees he will make it.

Sell him now with some proper long term add ons; ie sell on % (for the next 10 years!) and bonus payments back to us for International caps!

Agree with most on here, if we get 10mil then let him go with a nice sell on clause and maybe a loan back to us for a year and job's a good'un. He might not be able to cut it a level higher anyway.
