Fair enough. Different interpretations and all that. There are always some alarm bells with O9 - him diving into a challenge in their half with a couple of mins to go nearly put us in trouble, but he's midfielder by trade and is often attracted to the ball. all in all, it was a solid performance and a much needed 3 pts.

Delighted with that today. Difficult to pick a MotM as there were a lot of really good performances.

I thought Jobe did well today and gave us a presence up front. Ran the channels and held the ball up well a few times. Should have been the first of our strikers to get a goal with that disallowed one - well he was playing as a 9!

Thought Aouchiche was really good today, was surprised he got subbed but Dodds got it right by bringing Pritchard on.
Roberts far more effective today and Ekwah starting to get back to his old self - I didn't like seeing him jog back towards goal when WBA were on the attack though - needs to improve his work-rate/attitude in that respect. Jobe led the line well and Hume looked better when he was asked to stay at full back and not drift into midfield

It feels ****ing great to be sat here on a Saturday night, drink in hand with 3pts in the bag. Those last 7 mins after WBA scored and we're all squeaking our bums is proof of why Football is the best game in the world. Made that final whistle all the sweeter

Back from a long day and 3 points in the bag.

Felt we didn't play as well as we can m, but did enough to deserve the win.

Interesting reading here about 09 being at fault for their goal, yet very little said about Ballard and his awful tackle that should have left us with 10 men........

Pritchard the difference today, can he start games? I'm not sure he can but as an impact sub he showed his class today. And rhatbls from someone who has said he hasntnbeen great. Man enough to admit he proved me wrong today

Agree my friend. Sitting here the same. My boys 8th bday tomorrow. Booked out all of the local gaming place for him and his mates to crack on.

    Always nice with the win.

Ekwah really needs to get a bit nasty. For a big lad he shies out of challenges too often, doesn't put his foot in and watches players run past him.

He could have a really good career but needs to put in the hard graft and hard tackles.

He’s definitely out of sorts , thought he played ok today but his body language is completely off. Not a smile on his face at any point, not celebrating the goals with the rest of the lads.

I’d say at this moment prich has more quality for sure, AA had way more legs tho, he made a load of runs a pressed in a way I don’t think Prich can, I like prich but can see why he isn’t a starter, I’d rather let AA get a run personally.

Nah. He's had a look and seen that Ballard's marking his man and stepped forward into a likely spot to cut the cross out. Not his fault the cross wasn't obligingly put on his forehead or Ballard loses his man.

He's in no man's land. Neither closing down, nor dealing with the cross. No matter, we won.

He's trying to cut the cross out. He'd have had a hell of a job closing it down and Ballard wouldn't have thanked him for getting in his way. Didn't put a foot wrong today.

Was great to see such a cool finish from Neil, must admit I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw him running through. He's clearly got finishing ability when he doesn't get a rush of blood to the head.
