Words escape me on the current situation at Sunderland. This is as near as I can get. Just as you think that the pain is over and things are going to be peachie...the storm will not let you go.

My wife said to me this morning "why don't you just support someone else?"...they just don't understand.

Enjoy the clip and I'm sure a few of you will understand.

We last 2-1 at home to Chelsea yesterday, and although we havn't had the best of starts to the season, I think that it is the fans way OTT reaction to this that will inevitably contribute to our downfall...
This is a time for unity and support for the team when it is most needed. Sadly, I believe that Sunderland fans are just not up for the fight, and will contribute to our poor form, particularly at home.

I know what you are saying MrRAW...but Bruce has enjoyed a fair deal of support despite 2 massive capitulations over the last two seasons..his tactical (or lack of ) awareness, eg, not playing ANY strikers from the start at Brighton. I think Bruce has had time, money and backing. I have always supported Bruce, but now, i'm afraid his time is up, we need someone Better.

You're the first to mention the season before last for a while. It's always been a concern of mine that there was a repeat last season and I jokingly referred to him getting the winless run out of the way at the start this season. I still think it's too early for him to go this season but can't see him lasting. It's not just the results - it's the nature of the performances which aren't right.
