Just seen on the other forum that FGR have around 250 left for the away end. If we get stuffed tomorrow, I cant see all of our lot turning up on Sunday!
It hard to believe we have sold out though. Priority 1 and 2 dont make up that many say 3-4000 and they could only buy 1 ticket per person. General sale at 1pm and people struggled to buy online apparently as the system crashed (according to the other forum). You had 1 person serving apparently at Kingswood. How could they have sold out by 4pm? (when that article was made on the OS). http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/play-off-semi-final-fixture-sold-out-2429260.aspx
True. It was mayhem on Sunday, but as it was only ST holders that would only account for 3/4,000 max. Of course they were also selling to ST holders yesterday, and I don't know how that went. I went along 9am today to get a SC ticket and there were only one or two dozen waiting then. So there must have been a rush yesterday and a busy end to this morning. ...though we don't know how busy the Kingswood shop was and how many bought their tickets online...................
Very busy from what I have read. But 1 person serving couldnt have done 4000+ tickets in just 3 hours! Online system crashed so not many would have been lucky there!
I noticed at last Saturday's game against Alfreton there were posters gummed up saying 'Sold Out' although later in the evening the attendance was given at a little over eleven thousand ? I thought the capacity of the Mem currently stood at more than that.
Think the 12k+ capacity was when we had the extra stand between west stand and south stand. But we no longer have that so capacity reduced
According to Wiki the official capacity is given as being 11,916 {3,000 Seated}, hopefully we will nudge up to that on Sunday although I sadly will be having to listen in from across the pond , oh well next stop Wembley eh !
Lets hope that we don't win by such a great margin that the majority don't think it will be worth coming out for
Also, what happened to that stand? We should put it back, and in fact add another stand in the corner between the two away sections to boost attendances
Dont think we need it all the time but worth putting it up on big games when it looks set to be sell outs. Do you need permission though from the league/authorities?
Probably - I enquired about a roof for us poor ****ers in the uplands last season, or season before and they said they were not allowed because of the houses at the back
