To the point, anyone still playing? I've made a return this season, pre season started and loving it.

Sadly not - broken my leg twice as a younger lad and due to a number of ****ed up operations I can't play at that level any more. Still play the occasional game of 6-a-side. Miss the runs past the right winger to get a cross in (Was right back in my youth for a couple of pub sides)

What league you going to be playing in mate? I've not played for years now, recently though I've been going for runs and out on the bike most days so I'm starting to feel fit again. I've got a couple of offers there incase I do decide to go back.

Quit in my late 20s because of the knee. Those Darlo and Boro rejects were running me ragged. Soon as I'm old enough for the seniors I'll be there with my knee brace.

Division 4, fairly new team. Some canny players tho so expect promotion over the next couple of years at least a couple of leagues

I played well into my 40's, but alas injuries and age put an end to it..I absolutely loved it though..

Recently gave up footy, can't be doing with the injuries every game as every **** is about 0.5 second slower in reactions, and I'm the lanky bastard they always want to take down. Had my big toe stamped on about 3 times in the last year - nail(s) finally fell off at the weekend! Shame as well, because I only picked it up again after a few years absence, and found out I had a canny right foot on me.
