My mates and I are looking to set up a Sunday League team for next year to play 'mens' football! I was just wondering if anyone had set up a team before or even played and could offer any advice at all? Cheers
Write to your local league or county and they will provide you with all the info you need. You will need to get your application to join a league in as soon as possible for next season and aquire a pitch to use the local council can let you know of availability if you dont have a private pitch to use. Then nominate a secretary treasurer chairman to deal with the admin and off you go. You will probably have to put forward an entry fee with your application of about £50.00 which will be returned if your team is not elected and have to pay an annual subscription of abouit £50.00 a season. Public liability insurance is another out lay that you will have to pay in most leagues. Good luck.

Some leagues make you play friendlies to see what standard you are while others will just put you in the bottom league.
