A typical Sunday afternoon lying on the sofa with a dog snuggled up to me got me thinking how little that bloody Sunday feeling has changed since childhood. Dinner, telly, then to bed with school/work the next day. And Sunday night telly is and ever was a calmer, more relaxing and reflective affair. So, what is/was everyone's favourite Sunday night viewing?

I watched a few of Hamish MacBeth, thought Begbie was quite good playing a copper.

What was that show with the old geezer in a shed polishing horse brasses? Jack somebody, I think The Fast Show ripped him off for coughing Bob Fleming.

    Weekend World with Brian Walden

Ski Sunday or the Horse of the Year Show which may only have been once a year but always seemed to be on the telly.

No surprise to see what's out in front.

That and Glen Michael's Cartoon Cavalcade (which was omitted for some reason). Perhaps they didn't get that in Morris Dancing land?

Showing your age buddy. Did you watch too much on the box as a 20+something, is that why you were left with the "affliction"?
