Didn't see one started so here it is.

Naas 1.30 TELL US MORE 4/5
Horse of the weekend for me. He was one I put up for the Neptune at 20/1 as one of my 5 to follow. He COULD be the real deal, he travels and stays and has shown himself a very decent hurdler on his sole hurdles start. I wouldn't oppose the the second and third favs in tomorrows race lightly, Free Expression and Killer Crow, who I both like but I'm fully expecting the mighty Tell us More to set a very high benchmark tomorrow. Just watch his big raking stride, he'll devour that Cheltenham hill in the Neptune, which is where I hope and think he goes :)

He's 6 or 7/1 for the Neptune now, rather than back him tomorrow at odds-on you may prefer this bet. He could well be 7/2 favourite tomorrow ;)

Apart from a flyer on Watford to do Chelsea -Viking Blond in the Sussex Slog at 10/1 is a cracking bet --Bowen controls the weights for this and gets his boy's mount in on a light weight -well that's how I read it -stable in rude health!
Do like yours as well Boston -also Devilment in the first catches the eye,,,,,

I think Reblis will be very competitive in that race Rudey. Won last year. Races off a couple of pounds lower. Decent prep. 11/2 seemed fair in what is a trappy race.

Indeed Bob -but the Moore stable not really firing , whereas the Bowen yard have had plenty winners recently -it's always a major factor for me -

2.50 Plumpton Not the sort of race I usually look at but VIKING BLOND 10/1 has surely been laid out for a touch here by the Bowen yard. Was a bit of hard work last time again but he ran on eyecatchingly into 3rd beaten 10L, stays all day and has been dropped another 2lb.

Sean Bowens claim continues to help him and off a low weight must surely have a solid chance if on a going day.

On a side note, how do folks feel about L'ami Serge in the Supreme Novice? He's looked nice hasn't he and oddly I can't think of any real standout 2 milers right now. Perhaps the Irish festival coming up will give us more of an idea.

Douvan's done nothing but is 5/1. Crazy. A lot of that is hype following last season's incredible novice performance from Mullins.

L'ami was great today. Not sure if he beat all that much and the ground will be totally different in March but if forced to bet today on the Supreme, L'Ami would get my money.

I would just like to mention the Plumpton novice chase. Grumetti, Chris Pea Green and Sail By The Sea will battle it out. At the prices I'm with Chris Pea Green. I bet he's available at 9/4 at some point.

He ran a great race LTO beating Tango De Juilley as easily as he liked. That form was franked today when Tango was an outstanding second against two horses that are ahead of their marks in Filbert and Black River. Chris Pea Green won with anything up his sleeve. Grumetti is not a chaser to my eye. Sail By The Sea may be the spanner in the works as the unknown but it will take something very good to beat CPG and Grumetti on chasing debut.

CPG. Has to give 5lbs away today so matters are more complicated but not insurmountable. Whatever wins today will be in the mix for Cheltenham.

One note of caution about Tell Us More. He beat absolutely nothing so far albeit he's done everything well. The yard think loads of him, he's probably an exceptional horse and I have taken big prices re the Neptune so I may be in line for some burnt fingers but on bare form he should be 4th or 5th in the market for this race today.

Think it's important to bare in mind Henderson's record in the Supreme when considering the Tolworth winner. He's managed to get one VERY long list of hotpots stuffed in this race...My Tent, Darlan, Sprinter Sacre, Spirit Son, Amaretto Rose etc etc so you'd be bonkers taking 5 or 6/1 with his record alone. Bear in mind too that one of Mullins 'markers' Killutagh Vic got within 7 or 8l of Hendos horse too and that one wouldn't be fit to lead some of Willies better ones down the gallops...In fairness Douvan thrashed a subsequent G1 winner 12l on the snaff, but I'd also like to see him do it in a decent race too. Open race, but I'd be VERY mindful of Nicky's record before steaming in.

It's all about visual impression and potential with TuM Bob. He's up against a decent marker today so we'll know more after :)

On a side note, anyone notice the prize difference between the Sandown race and today's event at Naas? Both Grade One novice hurdles yet to the winner, the Nass race is worth 48k Euros, the Sandown one roughly 26k Euros... Little wonder they get 4 runner races when their putting up peanuts to race for <doh>

I thought L'Ami Serge was very impressive and did get a little bit of 6s for the festival opener in March as a result. I thought he did it well yesterday and beat 2 solid yardsticks pretty easily. The thing I like about his profile is that he's experienced having raced plenty of times over in France. Recent Supreme winners have been to the racecourse plenty of times and learnt their trade. Mullin's 2 at the top of the market (Douvan and Allisio Ville) have barely had a race between them. Couldn't have either of them with so little experience. Also barring a training injury I'll get a run for my money.

Vautour wasn't exactly an "old hand" when he won last year Chan - it was his 6th race, L'ami Serge has already had 9. I know what you mean though - "2nd run and into the Supreme" would be a bit much <laugh> <ok>

Beefy don't forget good old Binocular in your list of Henderson hotpots turned over in the Supreme - did my nuts on him that day, still can't believe Captain twatting Cee Bee beat him <laugh>

Grumetti drifted to a great price for his backers. The 5lb pull did for my chap but can't be unhappy with a performance like that giving plenty of weight to the winner and third.
