    GREGARIOUS 11/2 Ascot 2.30
Beat Deauville Crystal quite cosily at Sandown recently and that animal has won twice since so very much looks to be ahead of the handicapper. Uncomplicated front running type and the Ascot test should be stiff enough.

The one I like in that is the nutcase that is East Indies. He is so well handicapped and if he is on a going day then he will run a big race. Good card tomorrow and I think we will see a few Paul Nicholls winners as well.

Going to have an each way bet on New Tale 50/1 - Doncaster 2:15 the winner of the first division of the Brocklesby was out of Harbour Watch as this lad is and from a very unfashionable yard is a very speculative bet. I like the Dam Perfect Story and the Dam's sire Desert Story is good at churning out winning 2y-o's. The price I hope is representation of the trainer rather than the feeling of the ability of the horse itself.

Chemical Charge 5/2 - Doncaster 3:55 has some nice form and hopefully Raif has him fit to go having been laid up since November . A close 2nd to Sir Isaac Newton last season along with a string of other second place finishes (some on heavy ground) Chemical Charge could well be too good for them here.

Some ol favs out tomorrow, all having had a decent break. Flemenstar at Fairyhouse and Puffin Billy and Vino Griego at Ascot. Hope they all get round ok and run well but won't burden them with my cash. In Ireland I've developed a fairly simple lazy betting formula which as follows:
Trainer (Ellmarie Holden) + Jockey (Rachel Blackmore) = Bet. Look Closer in the opener fits the bill though form hardly inspires confidence. EW @ 12s. Good luck anyone having a punt.

    Wrong thread, doh! <doh>

<laugh> Just get the mOddy to move it to Sunday's thread if he's about. I've made the same mistake a few times.

Dont leave out Le Reve. Coming back after the horrific events at Cheltenham earlier in the year where amongst his injuries was a fractured skull...!

Wow. Didn't know he fractured the skull. I take it he's all healed up then. Best of luck to him.

Good point well made Stick. I thought those I referred to were retired to be honest. Most pleasantly surprised to see them all entered up tomorrow.

Me too, not sure what happened to Puffin Billy but would love to see him back somewhere near his best. looks like leg stretches for him and Le Reve though, confidence builders.

Not sure, but I'd guess that both are primed for a big run, Puffin Billy has been injured and this is a belated return (was due out in Feb). I'd like to see both run well.

Le Reve is an incredibly tough horse, to return this season is remarkable. Hopefully they can give him a confidence booster and then let him have a good long summer in a field. He deserves it!!

I very rarely back horses on a hatrick, its one of my self imposed rules to not back them, however in the 2:30 Ascot today, i'm breaking my own rule for Silver Streak 5/1 the Evan Williams runner ridden by Tom O'Brien. Has looked really impressive in its last two victories and i don't think its finished improving just yet. The price is just about right for me in what looks a competitive race. Domperignon Du Lys and Dolos would be my picks to fill the places so might have small combi tricast on aswell.

<laugh> what's so big about today???...run of the mill card there at "the house" and Look Closer is a maiden!

Chaninbar is on at a nice price now by the look of it. He got 12/1 and into 9/2 now.

    Anyway, good luck men <ok>

Fairyhouse 3.30-Bleu Berry win 11/4.Brelade looks the danger after finishing sixth in the Neptune but that race could have left its mark and if BB is abit more slicker of hurdles today he has a great chance of scoring .
