Up at Aintree Bon Chic, winner of the same race last year when he beat the talented but ill fated Black Ivory, lines up again. He's 3lb higher but he's race fit, will love the ground and at 25/1 is surely far to big. Also in the Old Roan Chase Theo @ 12/1 represents a bit of value. His beating of One for Billy reads well in the context of that ones near miss at Cheltenham on Friday. 2 ew singles and an ew double.

I will be watching the following at Aintree with added interest:

12:40 Dorking Cock (what a wonderful name - bound to be a star)
1.50 Pendra
3.00 Flying Angel
4.10 Sweet Adare

Best of luck everyone <ok>

hi fellas! wish you a nice and prosperous sunday. am kicking the day off with two short-priced favourites:

galway,12 35:

GETAWAY KATIE MAI was one of the bumper finds of last season, and she rounded her campaign off with a good win at aintree,in a hot bumper.so,if her jumping comes up to scratch on her hurdling debut, there will be some good races to be won with her this season.

aintree,12 40:

this is surely AYE AYE CHARLIES race for the taking, unless one of his rivals is above average.he performed at the top level last season, mostly with credit, and should take this en route to bigger and better things.also might have a experience edge too..

You've done it AGAIN, why even bother tipping 4/5 and 8/13 shots on the DT, makes no ****ing sense whatsoever!

sorry, but why should that be a problem in this thread?i think, anyone deserves to give his comments here, dont you think??

Of course you do. However, what is the point in doing a write up about odds on shots? You have put two up today and both have been beaten. You are at least normally a little more imaginative although expect a rant again the next time you call a 3/1 shot the dark horse in the race!

Carry on!

well,if you follow my posts closely for a longer time, you ll see, that i often had some bigger priced winners too.but if i think, the fav has the best chance in a race,i ll give my verdict on that too..so,whats wrong with that?and they might have won just as well there.who knows it before?..

alright,here are my next two:

galway,1 40:

TOUT ET PERMIS hasnt shown much at the end of last season, but maybe,he needed another summer on his back to strengthen up,and even if his last win is about 2 years ago, that was a good race,so surely has a future over fences.still young enough too..

aintree,1 50:

i really like these veterans races,as you are able to see your old foes in action again.BUYWISE has often been called the "nearly" horse, but that shouldnt distract from his ability,as he ran many grand races in his career.so,with his yard in good form,a bold show wouldnt surprise..

aintree,2 25:

a tricky handicap.HAUL AWAY is looking for a 5th win in a row,and the good thing about him is,he never wins by far,so hard to assess by the handicapper.is primed for another good run..

I have followed your posts closely for a fair time. Fair play to you for the effort you put in but, I wish I was your bookie!
