Anyone who only watches horse racing when a big meeting is on must be starting to think that Ryan Moore never loses any race he rides in, unbelievable form he's showing the past few weeks.
Ryan Moore is pi***ng me off today - how may times do we see jockeys win the small races - 3 group races and he's been sh*** - and then mess people's bets up in the 'big' races - yep pocket talk but I'm fuming
It was a bad ride by Ryan Moore on Found in the Irish 1000 Guineas, but I am not sure that it would have changed the result. He got boxed in behind a wall of horses that were fading and by the time he got out the winner was long gone. I am not convinced that Pleascach would not have gone on again if he had got to her so it may simply be that this was not a very good race and that Found has not progressed over the winter.
It looks like I will have to go and take another look at both the Derby and the Oaks as my ante post tickets both look dead and buried. I am amazed that Found is still third favourite in the Oaks betting as she will surely have the trainer’s son on her if she goes to Epsom whilst Moore rides the favourite.
