Hoping the Mullins hype behind American Tom can help get a bit more value out of A Toi Phil, had some on at 6/4 tonight but will check back in the morning. American Tom clearly has his issues and must be a fragile horse to only have seen a racecourse 5 times. A Toi Phil is no world beater himself but has decent enough form in these types of races. Doubled up with old Gilgamboa in the last.
Must be mad after yesterday's dismal effort, but had a bit e/w on Discorama at SP in the 13:50 at Thurles. That's probably screwed the good horse's chance.
I can't believe racing has gone ahead at Thurles with all that standing water on the track Testing with a capital T
don't know what happened but these low grade handicaps are notoriously unreliable/ difficult to call , hence they are bookies benefits , stable form is best in these types , ignore prices that's for sure , few clues there really , so tony newcombe wins with the outsider of the lot , but look through its past form , it had every right to win on a going day , market had no clue ! i backed Red Mohican , first run after wind op , market spoke loud 33 into 8 but then withdrawn .....get my money back , so a result of sorts ...........stilll liking Emma lavelles in the bumper , ......
Ah, thought you'd put up A Toi Phil also, but got you muddled up with fabio, who did get A.T.Phil/Gilgamboa double up, VWD to fabio. Saw yours win anyhow, scooting clear in the mud'n'slush, good pick.
