    Hello. Hope everyone well.

The one that I spoke about earlier in the week (‘county set’ plot and all that) goes tomorrow at Worcester. It is:

WELD ARAB (3.50) – Firstly may I say how well connections have done to get this horse perched on 97 for his handicap bow over hurdles (nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more…). Initially trained by Dermot Weld this one first ran for his current connections 18 months ago and has done well, on the level, winning on 3 occasions during the time he has been a resident of Wiltshire. Since turning his attentions to hurdles Weld Arab has been less impressive with form figures of –P584. However, those runs were how shall we say…ummmm…merely educational and to get him used to the jumping game. He has been competing over hurdles as high as class 2 level but this is much more appropriate being lowered to class 5 and being allowed to run in his first handicap off, as I say, 97. Meanwhile, on breeding Weld Arab should be some way above this level as the dam is not only a half-sister to a 1,000 Guineas winner but also to one placed in the Oaks! Old boy Mr Martin McIntyre (7) rides but I really wouldn’t let that put you off, people, as he takes off a very handy 7 lbs and is also no hack amateur having already ridden 3 winners this term (from just 16 rides). Housed in a barn who knows the time of day I would expect to see by far, and I do mean by far, the best run over hurdles of Weld Arab’s career, to date, in this event. No prices quoted on Oddschecker yet but I note that Sporting Life, at the time of writing, are forecasting 20/1.

    Good luck all.

Worcester the first race sees Skelton on stephanie francis best odds 4/6 which i would say is tight but they should take this with ease.
In the second i am Really intrested in the pipe / scudamore combo on dauphine ereine the odds are way to big at 5/2 and dauphine only needs to adjust to the settings to take this .

Fascinating Rock is too big at 2/1. We know he's high class in grade ones. We don't really know anything about US Army Ranger. Reverse the trainer for the two horses and you'd probably also reverse the current prices.

I think the Derby form is pretty solid plus US Army Ranger has the 3yo allowance. He really should win this if he's fully tuned up. I was really impressed with his Derby run given how green he was at Chester.

Double it up with Surfina in the 2pm Brighton makes it a nice 80/1. Small treble with Soaring Spirits in the 4 30 too makes it 200/1

I fancy four short-priced favourites today, so no bet. Is sixteen words concise enough, STH? :emoticon-0138-think:emoticon-0127-lipss:emoticon-0140-rofl:

Curragh 4.45-Dalton Heighway win 5/1-Sneaks in off a lovely weight after a cracking run at Galway lto.7lb claimer also on board so I'm expecting a big run here.

Not gonna lie- I have had to take a piece of 16/1 about LANCASTER BOMBER in the Curragh 2.45.

The fancied stablemate has been withdrawn and Churchills form on a line with CUNCO is no longer what it once looked.

1/4 is a mad mans price and Lancaster Bomber showed a good attitude last time out.

He could be interesting bounced out from the front but who knows what the instruction will be. At the price though he is totally unexposed and well bred.
