BARTERS HILL the first of my bumpers to follow going hurdling. Yard in very tepid form but nonetheless I will be disappointed if he doesn't win!

    Morning gents and lady,

Second bet of the NH season.

    1.50 Huntingdon Duke of Sonning

The fav looks uneasy to me. I don't like Newland horses at short prices anymore. They're hugely overbet and often too short to start off with. The King horse was very pleasing LTO and should have more improvement and at the prices I want to be with Duke of Sonning over Duke Street. The Hobbs and Skelton animals could be the fly in the ointment but I like King at Huntingdon and I like that this one has that extra bit of experience.

Morning all. Lucky 15 at Carlisle for me fellas, about time I got a bit closer with one of these...

    1:30 - CULTRAM ABBEY 9/1
    2:05 - CELESTINO 7/1
    2:35 - SETTLEDOUTOFCOURT 8/1
    3:10 - LORD WISHES 10/1

Also just read that Silviniaco Conti kicks off his season in a handicap hurdle at Kempton tomorrow - anyone see him taking a seat at the top table this year? Personally I don't think he will be able to live with the new kids on the block.

Today I am having a bet, and that is Out Sam at Carlisle. This is a horse that gave a beating to Tea For Two (142), Foryourinformation (145) and Thomas Brown (145) on his hurdling debut. He then went on to win under a penalty at Ascot before falling in the Albert Bartlett at the festival. He has moved to the Greatrex stable this summer and I think they have a very nice horse to go to war with this season. He runs today off a mark of 142. A very fair mark on his novice form.

Cant wait for Saphir Du Rheu's seasonal debut today - was brilliant in the Mildmay and should be even better this year.

Hats off to Ryan goes to France from America and rides a winner and looks to have another outstanding chance. I know he doesn't fly with the cattle but still all those miles on very little food! Exceptional talent!!

Fascinating money for the Hobbs horse. Not sure if either of the previous winners are going to feature in decent races this season. The one you put up sweated up on hurdles debut which concerns me.

A small Sunday punt on debutante North Hill Harvey in the 2:55 at Huntingdon. 8/1 with Willie Hills, better make it e/w as first two in betting look a bit hot.

Quite a race is this, be surprised if three or four don't go clear quite quickly. Surely Barters is going to be sent forward early to get the Ferguson horse in a stamina race?

Spot on. So impressive given how inexperienced he looks.

Looks decent enough. They're all still learning though. I'm not convinced yet but it does seem like England has something to go to war with. Which is a pleasant surprise.

Bit of a scene in my local Boyles shop just there.this oul lad who is a regular in there told me he got a tip for trap six in the 3.18 at Mullingar.I don't back the mutts so wished him luck.Boyles mainly show English dog racing so he asked them if they showing this race and the said they were but the lad behind the counter didn't have a price yet on his system.Your man is waiting for the price to come in and next thing the race starts on the screen around the corner with the prices up and trap six has been gambled from 5/1 to 5/2 and bolts up!This guy is a big punter and had €500 win but couldn't get the bet on so lost out on three grand! He went ****ing nuts, started throwing pens at the guy behind the counter! He is fairly well off and a bit of a **** in general so I wasn't to upset for him but I would be spitting blood in the same situation.Anyone ever come across a similar situation?!
