As i seem to be having a bit of success when starting the Sunday daily thread recently i thought i would try and carry it on! Just a shame there is no Moonlight Cloud for me this week <laugh>

    1.30 Deauville Vorda

I will still head over to France for my only bet of the day. Not much of a price but really like the look of Vorda in the Prix Morny. Progressed with every start and looked ultra impressive last time when sweeping past the field to win comfortably in the Robert Papin. On a line through Ambiance then Vorda comes out on top with No Nay Never but i dont expect it to be straightforward. No Nay Never was impressive at Ascot and is a very well developed colt however i just wonder how much scope for improvement he has. I can see him setting this up for Vorda to run him down close home. Should be an interesting battle though

Gentlemen and assassins and ladies of the night
I call upon this evening in the hope of shedding some light
I can't go into detail or finger unfounded fools
But there are some here amongst us that are not playing to the rules

if only that were true !!!!!!

but what is true is this

Dappers Dancer is out tomoz, those of us amongst us know that me and the don have a hoof in this fine filly, we love her to bits and her flat record means that only those who know her love her

but whats this, a change of yard a slight wind op and hey hey hey we could be chelts bound """"""""""""

doubt it but from small acorns ?

shes out tomoz at 4,35 southwell

The Don will be on course

we will let you know what we know but she wont be last (at last)

small and I mean small EW is advised

    stay very very frosty

I agree with you smp. No nay never is an absolute beast. Really looking forward to seeing him again. I don't know to much about this vorda so won't be having to much on.

Has no nay never been bought by coolmore? Because it looks like their colours.

Ixora @ Southwell 4.05. Returns to hurdles having proved not great over fences. Rated a stone less than when 6 and a bit lengths 6th to Quevega at the 2012 cheltenham festival. Has always been competitive in this grade before so expecting a decent run at 10s.

    Artful Artist. 2.20 Tramore.

Only because its in my ATR tracker....and only because its there because I watched never put in the race, and stayed on rather nicely in a flat contest over 12f at the same track 10 months ago.
Wether it can jump a hurdle, or for that matter, isn't just another dog remains to be seen. Splaine takes 5lb of the beasts back which might help and he's not the worlds worst jockey.....so a little e/way fun bet awaits at 25/1.

    5.20 Pontefract

    Solar Spirit 7/1

I was impressed with the way Tracy Waggott's 8 year old quickened and travelled when winning over 5f at Catterick LTO and I think the handicapper has been kind to put him up only 5lb to a mark of 80. A C+D winner from his 3 year old days, Solar Spirit was successful off this mark last June and was also defied off a 3lb mark by a short head over this track and trip last July in a much better race than this so I definitely feel he's still on a very workable mark. Having bagged the best draw in stall 1, I feel Solar Spirit has a cracking chance with Bary McHugh retaining the successful partnership and I think 7/1 is a price that is too big for Tracy Waggott's charge.

Travelled well but don't think he had the pace to quicken. Thought he'd be ok on the ground as his C+D defeat last year was on a similar surface but I think at 8 he needs some give underfoot.

Pat Smullen has had a good day at Dundalk so I'm going with him in the last on Salhooda in the hope that she can make the age and sex allowances pay

Im quite keen on Stronger Than Me in the last at Dundalk, does have a wide-ish draw to overcome though.
