Best of British Dan....you've been up longer than me!..thanks for the info.

My only one today/yesterday,Bible Belt, hit the bar at 20's,albeit an ew selection.

Oddy's old dog Nearby is back over timber tomorrow after costing supporters a few bob over fences.

Not sure i'll play tomorrow but i'll be interested to see if there is any money for Possible in the fillies maiden at Naas, the 2.40.Very promising debut from a yard that never has first time up winners (lastkingofscotland off the top of my head may have been the last one).Interesting considering the fifth that day ran a nice race in a hot maiden on Friday.

Worth a check in the morning perhaps, despite the fact she has to reverse form with the third.Could be decent ew opportunity.

As an aside, great performce from Together tonight in Kentucky.I alluded to the teak tough constitution of Banimpire last evening and this filly is similar.

Tonight was the ninth run of her widely travelled campaign and the eighth at G1 level.Fabulously tough and consistent.

Just in on the willie phone

"Top of the morning to you Dannnno, Call Me Bubbles (Oddy does) goes for the 6f maiden. He has been very disappointing in his two runs so far but we are hoping that the nicer ground and straight track will bring about improvement. Wee Giant goes for the 2m 3f handicap hurdle. He has been a disappointing horse but is really a Summer ground performer so i thought why not run him in early winter !!, however He is in good form at home and this looks like his best chance for a while.
Tawaagg the scalywag runs in the 1m 4f handicap. He was very disappointing last time but that was not in keeping with his work at home. He has a nice light weight here and we will try different tactics today so there you have it my friend, im having a few euro's on bookem dano named after your good self, stay frosty ya baldy old coot"

Morning lads, I'm hoping that Australia Day can take a chill pill before the off and put in a steady round of jumping at Kempton Park. Dan I like Bookemdanno too but the big unknown in the race is Greylami, be very interesting to see how that one goes first time over hurdles.

Dexter that Nearby race is full of dodgy chasers coming back over hurdles - definitely one to avoid.

I see Vambo's mate King Vuvuzela runs in the first at Cork - spiced rums all round if that one wins <ok> The novice hurdle at 2.50 at Cork looks a cracker too, one to watch though as I can't pick a winner. First Lieutenant should score again on his way to much bigger and better things in the same card.

I started watching An Idiot Abroad last night and whilst I find the lad himself funny, I got absolutely pissed off with Ricky Gervais cracking up laughing at everything he said - such affected laughing, you could tell he was putting it on. Got right on my wick.

Anyways best of luck today to all

RV that is sad news. RIP, a very talented horse. Condolences to Alan King and his yard and the owners.

(on the gallops eh? So not jumping a fence and not being whipped to death in a sickening manner to increase the greedy owners profit ................ hmmmmm)

willie has ScotsIrish ay Cork, wait till i see him,,,,,,ruby up top and 4s at moment

1st Lieut should win but 4/6 !!!, im going to go EW on Ruby and De Valira, Tony Martin takes over Oscar Dan Dan but ruby who has won ODD and as far as i can see he has not rode DV, maybe Townsend has give him the nod, any ways at 10s EW seems better value than the rest

sad about Mille Chief still had some good wins to come i thought

NZ awesome. Next week's Final an anti-climax to a great competition. Should be enititled "Murder In The Park"? Wales could have given them something to think about, but it was not to be. Gutted for Wales.

Don't like to go against that Big Galoot with the shovel but against his King Vuvuzela I am really confident that MAXIM GORKY can win the 2.20 at Cork. This one was previously trained by Sir Michael Stoute and has 2 victories to his name on the flat and achieved a rating of 90 from 5 starts. He has since switched to Noel Meade having been purchased by Gigginstown House Stud and made a bright start to his hurdling career at Thurles when finishing 2nd to a 120 rated hurdler LOUISVILLE LIP. This effort was was highly encouraging and he was then stepped up to grade 1 level on only his second start over hurdles, he finished 2nd last but may not have been enjoying the heavy ground. He takes a big drop back down to maiden hurdle company this afternoon and with trainer Noel Meade in red hot form I expect a massive run from this horse today. At around the 11/4 mark I feel he is fair value to land the opener
