Okay, it is “do not shoot the messenger” time...

I have been told Van Gerwen in the last at Pontefract but I am not having a penny on it myself as it really does look like a Class 5 sprint handicap full of Class 6 beasts.

Looks like England are about to draw the Test series against Pakistan despite having the top three run scorers (Root, Cook, Bairstow) and the top wicket taker (Woakes). Will Pakistan soon be No. 1 Test team?
