Leader of the self styled 70's religious group Moonies dies today age 92. Its wasn't of that much interest tbh until I saw this picture on the news and it caught my attention big time.

Wonder if any of the team, manager met him during this summers tournament?

Well it does as SAFC played in it and I was only interested as he obviously was there and was a major global figure back in the 70's. If we played in the FA Cup Final but lost does that then have nothing to do with us?

Was only making an interesting link pal. No need to be so abrupt was there?

I cant see the problem here, we often go off topic, just to pass on other stuff. Some enjoy, some dont. Simple realy.

The whole competition was originally founded by the Moonies, wasn't it? I'm sure it had a different name originally

Saw a documentary on the moonies a few weeks back on tv. They were doing a group wedding for hundreds of moonies. If I remember right this leader told each couple when they could consumate there marriage just randomly picking dates. So they had to stay virgins until he said!
Weird controlling facist ****er good riddance.
