He tried to sign him, but Ibra said no - think this was around 2001 when he left Malmo and joined Ajax
He did have a chance to sign him. Agent got involved at last minute to try and up wages. Bob Murray then refused it. Thats first hand from Reidy
Looks like people have been bombarding Semedo’s brother on Instagram and he’s now said it’s fake news and not happening
@MsiDouglas Agent of #safc star Jack Clarke tells me he's 'happy' at Sunderland and loves playing under Tony Mowbray. But 'every player has a price'. #efc, Brentford, Burnley among those credited with interest. More: https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/...derland-2386282?ito=twitter_share_article-top
its refreshing that its Clarke's agent saying that Clarke wants to stay, rather than Clarke. I guess it helps that his agent is an ex Sunderland player who loves football. Also shows good long term planning, Harte surely knows that any payment he gets for Clarke's next transfer will be bigger if he gives him at least another year to grow and develop his reputation. The very fact people are talking about £10-15m as his value shows that people haven't woken up to how good he is yet.
Ian Harte agent of Jack Clarke speaking to inews.co.uk “Jack loves it at Sunderland and he’s got three years [of his contract] left. Of course I can’t control what other clubs are going to do. If other clubs contact Sunderland that’s unfortunately out of my control. “I think every player, no matter what league you’re in, has a price and no matter what club you’re at if a club is happy with it they’ll take it. “But top and bottom of it, I love going [to Sunderland]. I live locally and I also look after Niall Huggins who will hopefully kick on and have a really positive season next year and play games. We’ll just have to wait and see [what happens].” “All the lads loved [former manager] Alex Neil but since Tony [Mowbray]’s come in it’s moved up a level. He’s a good guy. For young lads, he’s willing to sit down, talk and explain to them how to improve,” Harte says. “Some of the football that Sunderland played this season has been breathtaking and finishing sixth was an incredible achievement in their first season back.”
Amad has also hinted he'd come back aswell if Tony stays. Tells us all we need to know about him as a manager really, and how lucky we are to have him help develop our young talent.
Shame. Weird that he said it was happening and then changed to fake news. Shame it isn't happening as I thought he looked good.
Could just be back tracking as some weird people online have started sending him messages, still hopeful it gets done
MacAllister set to sign for Liverpool according to SSN. Id like us to make a move to get Carvalho on loan from them now, who will have been pushed further down the pecking order if/when he signs.
Carvalho linked to Leipzig not MacA. We have no chance of Carvalho. Leipzig have offered over £10m and are in the Champions League. Lots of Prem clubs interested in loans but he wants better. We have literally zero chance of getting him in.
