just a classy answer I guess. Wouldn’t want to ruin a celebration by saying he’s off fwiw there’s nothing to indicate it is happening other then seemingly media outlets reporting the same source story
It's pretty diplomatic to be fair. I just found it funny how it's gone from "Sunderland are interested", to "Sunderland have made a bid" to "he's on the first flight to England after the game has finished" within about 48 hours.
Yeh and never without any sort of source. Feels just like Chinese whispers from the original story. hope I’m wrong as he looks a good addition
Haha i know, shocking attitude!! I recorded it so watching it later to see what hes like, got to enjoy the sun while its out!!
Basically it’s ****e mate, 2 teams that would struggle to finish top half of the championship and the rest probably league 1 level.
same as Scotland id guess. play each team 3 times = 33 games. Split into top and bottom half and play each team once = 5 games
I’m on about Scotland mate, how do you play each other three times unless one is on a neutral ground?
I THINK it’s just random / luck of drawer. So you play some teams twice and some teams once at home. Then when you play your final 5 you “complete” the 2 home / 2 away for those teams. thinking about it, that probably means trams could end playing 20 home games and 18 away. not sure if and how they police that
i thought i checked that league out a good while ago and it worked out as they play each team 4 times, don't know if/when it altered but it does not compute now so thanks for that, the A-league was bad enough.
No idea, that league needs a massive overhaul. It’s so poor though I think they are flogging a dead horse
It’s an absolute joke, league splits into 2 and 7th place could finish the season with more points than 6th. Might as well just merge the top 2 leagues together as it’s only the same 3-4 teams that win anything anyway. It’s no wonder they have issues attracting big players.
I've always wondered what the upside of this is. There's 42 teams in the Scottish professional leagues and then a good few more in the "non league" who have been in the league recently- Cowdenbeath, Berwick, East Sterling etc. Why not increase the numbers to 48 and just have 3 leagues of 16. 30 game seasons plus playoffs? Seems better to me.
it’s stupid like but this kinda thing actually has more credence with me than the echo reporting what a random website has said
100% the likes of the echo and chronicle all just use Bein Sports’s original report, but a family member doing this gives a lot more substance
