Probably mentioned in January but where is Ryan Babel currently playing. Never played in the middle for Liverpool but he's a big fast powerful guy. Exactly what were missing. Is he worth a punt?

No, to the contrary, the fact they have slumped may mean he's available, he may well have went on the back of Euro football. I always thought we should move for him, and age is on his side. Never got a fair crack at Liverpool.
I am sure we enquired about him in January but it was to late and he was already on his way to Germany I like the guy and think he was harshly treated no matter who you are you cannot show what you got in your locker if you are only getting the odd 10-15mins now and again and he rarely played in his favoured central role like he did when he burst onto the scene at the U21 Championships. Would be a good signing IMO
Maybe it's me Poolie, but I didn't think he was capable of controlling a ball, let alone play football. Always looked very clumsy.
