Yeah I’m not convinced by him tbh. Worried it’s just because he’s HG and played in the PL that Spurs want him. I’d still take him over Lloris though. Lloris has been on the decline for the last few years and should have been moved on last summer

I have always held the romantic idea that football players are in it for the glory as well as the money.
What will a player on £1mil a week have to show his kids/grandkids at the end of his career in Saudi other than his bank account.
I reckon if a Saudi club was buying one of our players for £55m the EPL / FA would be all over it. I'm hoping this is all just a prelude to us offloading Lascelles for £50m and Fraser for £30m in a few weeks.

These players are multi millionaires…well above and beyond what they deserve…they are driven by money nowadays…it’s a fact…look at the numbers negotiated

Am 65 now so probably won't happen but, if i played pro football i would have strived to get to a team/level where i might just win a league/cup medal to make my time playing memorable.
I know every player can't do this but surely it's a bigger incentive to play the game than money, especially these days where even the lower paid players in top leagues are paid enough to set their family up for life.
No chance. They let your owners in knowing fine well that it’s a state takeover of your club. You’ve got cart blanche to do whatever you guys want.
Wish these Saudi clubs would come in and buy all of the Spurs dross in one huge transaction.
