They reckon he’s looking fit as a fiddle on returning.

Maybe he will come good.

We have Bruno Willock Shelvey Longstaff x 2 Joe. A total of 6. And we had Hayden and Hendrick who have now left.

So currently JS is 3rd on the list.

Hopefully Bruno can kindly play Shelvey in for a 50:50 tackle with Joelinton during training. That'll sort out the dilemma of him still being in the squad.

He won't people say the same thing every year.

To be fair, it's Shelvey's first season under a progressive manager.

I think as it stands we would like three players, the CF, RW and CM. Probably in that order. I think they're exploring every option for CF, from loaning Broja to buying Isak. Same with RW, with Diaby top of the list but tentative interest in Harrison, Gordon and Hudson-Odoi. CM I think is a nice to have at the moment. If Paqueta became available for Bruno price, then they'd probably go for it.

I wasn't impressed with jonjo even under Howe.. He's the same shelvey he's a one trick pony and even that trick never pays. He played im guessing 30 games and scored 2 ) one a free kick Leeds keeper forgot to catch) and got only assist despite taking corners and free kicks.

The reality is however that there's not much ahead of him, so unless newcastle bought another 2 cms he will be needed at some stage

There's worse and that's quite remarkable actually.

One Tweet - Newcastle keen, but would need to spend almost all remaining budget.
Next Tweet - Newcastle weighing up record bid.

It's all bollocks till it's a fair bit further down the line.

Depends really newcastle could buy a big name player then loan one or 2 for around 50 million

This Isak doesn't score many.. What kind of fwd is he?

One that netted 17 La Liga goals season before last, he had a ****ter last year though. Came through the Dortmund academy, so a really good prospect - unlike Ekitike who they were never interested in as they realised you can't get a diamond out of a turd <laugh>
