Really hope this bloke is right about us not taking less than £20 million for Eze, and that if we aren't offered that we will wait until at least January, and hope he performs as brilliantly as he can and pushes his price up further. I read a positive comment attributed to Moyse that isnt mentioned so much, that apart from his brilliance he has been consistently available for us. I can't remember him being out injured or suspended, and with the exception of the SW game, always seems to give at least a 6 out of 10 performance even on his less than good as usual days. He doesnt' go missing.

I wasn't going to post this. Worried about Watford's heart given the heat and this news.

If Warburton and Warnock rate him then I accept I’m not seeing something that’s there but the kid (23) was absolute ****e for us IMO. Inexperienced for his age and with an ACL tear behind him it seems an unnecessary gamble when you’ve got Millwall signing Ryan Woods on loan again. Would’ve loved him instead.

I didn't see much to love either, but do have (perhaps blind) faith that Warburton sees something he can work with. I'll be very happy to eat humble pie if he comes to us and comes good.

I was growing to like him a lot. I could see he was getting a lot steadier and a bit of confidence...I thought another year and he could be like Eze, but not quite as good (obviously)

AND THEN in the last match versus WBA, he and Kakay got into a mess on the half line and the WBA play got through both of them...(both at fault, badly at fault) but Kakay immediately turned and tried to get back. Amos stood and threw his hands in the air. All the "brownie" points he had amassed went up in the air.

I do wonder if some one like Warburton commits to him, and coaches him. He obviously realises he is getting towards last chance saloon to make it big....it could be downhill from here if not.

Apparently Middlesborough and Warnock are after him...Warnock loves our scouting system obviously, as he has already got Hall...and now they are after Goode and Amos.

Fair write up. He definitely looked a bit better further forward. As much blind faith as I have in Warburton, I still won't be mentioning Amos in the same sentence as Eze, caveat or not!!

WLS reporting BOS has turned down Bruges, and we plan to renew contract negotiations with him next week when pre-season traing starts. There's hope in the dangling bait.
